WALNUT’S NEW HATCHERY

WALNUT’S NEW HATCHERY

O. M. Christensen and August Fischer will open a modern, up-to-date electric hatchery in the Fischer building by the first of the year. They have purchased a new Jones-Way incubator of 40,000 capacity and will give this community the best there is to be had in baby chicks. All eggs hatched will be from blood-tested flocks.

Otto Christensen has had many years of experience in the successful treatment and care of livestock and poultry and we are glad to welcome him to the business enterprise in this community.

August Fischer has for the past 17 years successfully operated the Briardale Grocery Store and needs no introduction to the people of Walnut and vicinity. (Walnut Bureau, Dec. 17, 1936, p. 1)
