My mother, Janice Lorrain Cash, always had an interest in filling in the gaps of information on her family tree. As it turned out, finding the information was rather easier than most: eight generations all born in the same town. A gold mine of information, right? Maybe so, but have you ever sifted gold? Being that the Cash family is among the earliest settlers on Cape Cod (MA), their name is among some of the most common names in that area.
